1. Will I need to commit full time to the business?

The Raison Home franchise is designed to provide flexibility, allowing you to manage your own time. While your dedication directly impacts your success, we recommend focusing on your business full-time during the initial two years. This is to ensure your area is established and thriving.

2. How soon can I expect to generate income?

Most franchisees make their first sale within the first three months after initial training. Our marketing efforts begin during training, and we encourage you to do the same. By the end of training, you should have leads ready. Promptly immersing yourself in networking groups and utilising your personal connections can also expedite your success.

3. How do you support sales growth?

We employ a three-pronged approach to enhance your sales:

  • Lead Generation: Our targeted advertising, national brand presence, website, social media, and more are geared to attract customers in your area.
  • Training: Continuous training ensures you grasp and employ the concept effectively. Regular video catch-ups and face-to-face meetings in the initial years are standard.
  • Suppliers: Our network of reputable UK and Italian suppliers provides a diverse product range at competitive prices, bolstering your offering.

4. How can I compete with major chains in terms of pricing and variety?

Our focus is on delivering personalised service and building relationships rather than competing solely on price. We collaborate with diverse suppliers, granting access to a wide array of products. This flexibility empowers you to design dream kitchens for your customers, and our franchise model supports your freedom to work with alternative suppliers, within reason.

5. Can I become a designer without formal experience?

Absolutely! Our comprehensive 6-week training covers room planning, customer understanding, and style identification. We provide all the necessary tools to shape you into a skilled designer, ensuring you’re well-equipped to excel.

6. I’m new to business ownership. Will you guide me?

Our training encompasses business management, including cash flow planning. While our modules cover various aspects, securing a reliable accountant is crucial. Although we can offer suggestions, we recommend finding an accountant suited to your location and needs.

7. How do you assist during project installations?

Your initial projects may seem overwhelming, but preparation eases the process. We’re available to support you in different capacities for your first projects, ensuring your success. Our training outlines project planning steps, emphasising the importance of preparation.

8. How is marketing handled for lead generation?

Both national and local marketing strategies synergize for optimal results. Our national branding, social media, and website generate leads. You engage in local marketing, showcasing your personality on social media and building B2B relationships. National and local efforts complement each other, reinforcing your credibility.

9. Is scalability achievable, and can I hire more designers?

Originally conceived as a one-person venture, Raison Home has evolved into a scalable business model. Whether you choose to start as a sole proprietor or expand with multiple Home Designers, we support your growth aspirations and provide guidance tailored to your goals.

10. How are territories allocated?

Territory allocation is crucial. We use two approaches to ensure success:

  • Exclusive Area: You’re assigned a protected area, generally based on a population of 150,000 people. No other franchisee can operate in this area (except working with friends and families)
  • County Limit: We cap the number of Home Designers per county, promoting healthy growth for each franchisee.

If you have any more inquiries, feel free to contact us. We’re excited to assist you on your journey with Raison Home as a Home Designer.
